This Privacy Policy describes how IM Communications collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal data in connection with the IMEVO website and related enquiries. IM Communications handles personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and other applicable law.
1. Scope
This Policy covers visits to imevo.sg; Book a Discovery Session and Get Started enquiries; requests concerning consultancy, Smart Apps, training, and the SZ learning trip; communications resulting from those enquiries; and technical or security operation of the website. Individual Smart Apps or activities may have more specific privacy policies, and this Policy does not govern every product's internal data processing.
2. Personal data we may collect
The website enquiry form currently collects:
- name;
- company;
- email address;
- the selected area of interest; and
- the visitor's free-text message.
The website does not currently collect a phone number through the visible enquiry form. Normal hosting and server operation may generate technical or security information such as IP address, browser or device information, request logs, and error or security logs. We do not ask for payment, account, identification-document, photograph, or authentication data through this website.
3. How we collect data
We collect data directly when visitors complete the enquiry form or otherwise contact IM Communications about IMEVO. Technical data may be generated automatically through normal website, server, and security operation. Service providers acting on our behalf may process data where necessary to operate the website and enquiry workflow.
4. Purposes of collection and use
We may collect and use personal data to:
- receive, handle, and respond to enquiries;
- contact visitors about the service or programme selected;
- arrange discovery sessions or follow-up discussions;
- manage prospective business relationships;
- provide requested information about consultancy, Smart Apps, training, or learning trips;
- maintain enquiry records;
- protect website security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues;
- comply with applicable law and lawful authority requests; and
- carry out other purposes notified to and consented to by the individual where applicable.
Submitting the enquiry form does not automatically subscribe the visitor to marketing communications.
5. Enquiry-form consent
Before submitting an enquiry, visitors must actively tick an unchecked box confirming that they have read and agree to the Terms of Use, acknowledge this Privacy Policy, and consent to IM Communications collecting and using the submitted information to respond to the enquiry. The server records the current Terms and Privacy Policy versions and a server-generated consent timestamp with the enquiry. Consent does not override processing permitted or required under applicable law.
6. Google Sheets and service providers
The form sends data to the IMEVO server-side API. After validation, a successful enquiry is stored in a Google Sheet controlled for IM Communications' enquiry-management purposes. Google provides Google Sheets storage, and Vercel provides website, application-hosting, and server infrastructure. These providers process data under their applicable arrangements with IM Communications.
The enquiry workflow does not currently use Supabase, a website-generated acknowledgement or notification email provider, or Cloudflare Turnstile. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
7. Disclosure
Personal data may be made available where reasonably necessary to website, infrastructure, hosting, or storage providers acting for IM Communications; professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or business-support providers where appropriate; governmental, regulatory, law-enforcement, or judicial authorities where required or permitted by law; and other parties where the individual has consented or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
8. Overseas transfers
Google and Vercel infrastructure may involve processing or storage outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, IM Communications will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, as required by applicable law.
9. Protection and security
IM Communications uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the website and enquiry workflow, including restricted access, protected credentials, encrypted transport, and secure development and software-maintenance practices. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
10. Retention
Enquiry data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; responding to and managing the enquiry or business relationship; and applicable legal, security, accounting, or legitimate business requirements. When retention is no longer reasonably necessary, IM Communications will cease retaining the data or remove the means by which it can be associated with an identifiable individual where appropriate and required by law.
11. Accuracy
IM Communications generally relies on visitors to provide accurate and complete information. Please contact us when relevant personal data needs correction.
12. Access and correction
Individuals may request access to or correction of personal data held by IM Communications, subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, by contacting the Data Protection Officer. A reasonable fee for an access request may be charged where permitted by law; any applicable fee will be disclosed before the request is processed.
13. Withdrawal of consent
Where processing relies on consent and withdrawal is permitted, an individual may contact the Data Protection Officer to withdraw consent. Withdrawal may affect our ability to respond to or continue an enquiry. It does not affect processing already lawfully carried out or collection, use, or disclosure permitted or required without consent under applicable law.
14. Children
IMEVO is primarily intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed specifically to children.
15. Data Protection Officer
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to the Data Protection Officer at dpo@imcomms.com.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Policy may be revised from time to time. Its version, effective date, and last-updated date appear on this page, and material updates may be highlighted where appropriate. Visitors are not subject to a login-time policy gate; each new enquiry must accept the current policy wording and version.
17. Relationship with other terms
This Policy should be read with the IMEVO Terms of Use and any more specific privacy notice or product privacy policy that applies to an individual Smart App or activity.
